What is a tub-to-shower conversion?
A tub-to-shower conversion replaces an unused or underused bathtub with a spacious, modern walk-in shower built around our CliqCore™ system. We remove the existing tub completely, cap and reroute drain plumbing as needed, install a new shower base, and build out the walls with custom-fitted CliqCore™ solid-surface panels.
This is a full replacement — not a tub liner or wall overlay. The old tub leaves the house, the substrate is inspected and properly waterproofed, and a brand new wet area is built in its place. Most homeowners stop using their tub years ago, and a walk-in shower instantly makes the bathroom feel larger and easier to clean.
Most conversions are completed in a single day. The CliqCore™ system arrives custom-measured to your bathroom, and our W-2 install crew handles demo, plumbing trim, base set, wall panels, fixtures, and final seal in one visit.
Conversions can be configured with a standard threshold or a low-threshold base for easier step-in access. Optional grab bars, bench seats, and handheld showerheads can be added for accessibility.
