What's Typically Not Covered
Like all remodeling warranties, certain maintenance items, normal wear, and external conditions are excluded from coverage.
Caulking is a normal maintenance item that may need periodic reapplication due to natural settling, temperature changes, and moisture exposure.
Surface scratches, minor dents, and cosmetic wear from everyday use are considered normal and are not installation-related defects.
Mineral deposits and hard water staining on glass or surfaces are caused by water quality and require routine cleaning, not warranty service.
Damage resulting from severe weather events, falling debris, or other environmental factors is outside the scope of installation warranties.
Failure to perform recommended maintenance (cleaning gutters, re-caulking, etc.) may void coverage for related issues.
Any damage resulting from work performed by other contractors, movers, or unauthorized modifications is not covered.
Product defects unrelated to installation are handled through the manufacturer's own warranty process. We'll help coordinate.
